Bobbie Franklin Bridges, age 75, of Joanna, widow of Milton (Wiennie) Bridges, died Saturday, May 20, 2006.
She was born in Newberry and the daughter of the late Willie Kinard and Essie Wilson Franklin.
Mrs. Bridges was a member of First Baptist Church in Joanna and was retired from Ithaca Industries.
She is survived by one son, Bill (Bubba) Bridges of Joanna; two daughters, Marty Smith and Jan Simmons of Joanna; a sister, Lillie Bridges of Clinton; and three grandchildren, Lee Ann Smith, Cody Simmons, and Bryanna Smith.
Graveside Services will be conducted at Rosemont Cemetery Tuesday, May 23, 2006, at 4:00 p.m. The family will greet friends following the service.
The family will be at the home of her daughter, Marty Smith, 510 Browning Avenue, Joanna.
