Bobbie Murff Chandler

Bobbie M. Chandler, age 77 formerly of Dogwood Lane and widow of Irby L. Chandler died Sunday, October 5, 2008 at the Langston House in Clinton.
She was born in Greenville County and was a daughter of the late Guy and Carrie Meeks Murff.
Mrs. Chandler was a former employee of Jacobs Press; member of Leesville Southern Methodist Church of Laurens; the Sallie Adair Missionary Society; the Oak Grove FCL Club and the Long Branch Community Club.
Surviving are two sons, Richard I. Chandler and wife, Charleen of Clinton, Thomas W. Chandler and wife, Martha Ann of Florence; daughters,Lyn Burkett and husband, Speedy of Leesville, Jean Chandler and husband, Alex of Arlington, VA; one sister, Glenda Soll of El Paso, TX; five grandchildren, Austin Chandler, Jacob Chandler, “Meg” Chandler, Sarah Chandler, Sebastian Amenabar; two great grandchildren, Anna Grace Chandler and Amelia Chandler.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Randy Murff.
Funeral service will be conducted Friday, Oct. 10th at 2:00 p.m. in the Leesville Southern Methodist Church with burial in the Forest Lawn East Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
