Bobby (Bob) Van Starnes

Bobby (Bob) Van Starnes, age 83, of 1107 Lakeshore Dr., passed away Wednesday, January 7, 2015, he was a born in Monroe, NC and was a son of the late Robert and Ola Mae Mullis Honeycutt Starnes.
He was retired from the meat packing industry, he will be remembered as an active participant with the Creekside Karaoke, he truly enjoyed his life at the lake with all his friends and buddies.
Surviving are his daughter, Heidi Starnes of Del Ray Beach, FL; a sister, Joyce Sipes of Hickory, NC; a grandson, Blake Starnes of Del Ray Beach, FL; and his Best Friend, his dog Skipper.
He was predeceased by a daughter, Patricia Diann Starnes; his brothers, Boyd Honeycutt, Joe Starnes, Parks Starnes, and Ellis Starnes; and his sisters, Judy Smith, Lois Threatt, and Nan Hollaway.
The family will receive friends at the Gray Funeral Home in Clinton on Friday, Jan. 9th from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
Funeral service will be held at Forest Lawn West Chapel on Monday, January 12th at 2:00PM with burial in Sharon Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends at 1 PM on Monday, before the service at the Forest Lawn West Chapel in Charlotte, NC.
