Bobby Joe Norwood age 78, of 5628 Whitmire Highway, passed away Thursday, July 10, 2014 at the Newberry County Hospital.
He was born in Laurens County and was a son of the late Grady and Loraine Rodgers.
Mr. Norwood was retired from Greenwood Mills Joanna Plant and attended Bible Faith Tabernacle.
He is survived by his sons, Mitchell Norwood of Clinton and Ansel T. Medlin of Joanna; a daughter, Angel Nichol Medlin of Joanna; a brother, J.P. Rodgers of Enoree; a sister, Virginia Rodgers Davis of Clinton; seven grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held on Sunday, July 13th at 2:00 p.m. at Pinelawn Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends on Saturday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
The family will be at their respective homes.
