Bobby Lee Sanders

Dateline-Clinton, SC-

Bobby Lee Sanders, age 84 formerly of Florida St. and widower of Rosa Bridges Sanders died Wednesday, Aug. 25t, 2010 at Bailey Manor.
He was born in Asheville, NC and was a son of the late Davis M. and Eula Brown Sanders.
Mr. Sanders retired as the Tax Assessor of Laurens County, was a member of the First Baptist Church of Joanna, the Clinton Kiwanis Club, was a US Army veteran and served 40 years in the South Carolina National Guard.
Surviving are his four children, Marvin Sanders and wife, Donna of Tupelo, MS, Dr. Carol Nichols and husband, Dr. John Nichols of Spartanburg, Becky Miles of Clinton and Davis Sanders of Taylors; grandchildren, Michelle Monroe and husband, Deron of Collierville, TN, Deborah Thornton and husband, Gene of Collierville, TN, Lydia Habisreutinger of N. Myrtle Beach, Johanna Nichols of Bloomfield, CO, Anna Rose Gunnoe and husband Shawn of Clinton and Craig Miles of Clemson; great grandchildren, Jillian and Everett Thornton, Logan Monroe and Sayer Gunnoe.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, Aug. 28th at 2:00 p.m. in the First Baptist Church of Joanna by Rev. Alan Todd, burial with military honors will follow in the Rosemont Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Friday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
The family will be at the home of Thelma Crolley, 301 Byrnes St., Joanna, SC.
