Bonnie Ruth Shealy Lawson, age 82, of 1297 Lovers Lane, was promoted to Heaven on Wednesday, April 13, 2016 at NHC of Clinton.
She was born on November 14, 1933 in Prosperity and was a daughter of the late Samuel Wilbur Shealy, Sr., and Nannie Mae Koon Shealy.
In loving memories, she will be cherished by her children, Anne Williams of Whitmire, Timothy “Timbo” Lawson (Donna) of Whitmire and Pam Matthews (Jimmy) of Lexington and her precious fur baby, Sugar.
Known by her grandchildren as Mimi, she leaves precious memories with Chris Hazel (Christy), Mandy Hutton (Matt), Ricky Williams (Brittney), Chris Wilbanks (Charlie), Dana White (Billy), Corey Wilbanks (Amanda), Timothy Lawson, Nathan Senn (Kristin), Adam Matthews and Mark Matthews(Shelby); fifteen great-grandchildren, Jarrett, Logan, Colton, Bonnie, Hunter, Regan, Dalton, Ross, Sydney, Sadie, GraceAnn, Treyten, Georgia, CJ and Brady. Mimi also will be greatly missed by a special nephew and niece, Leslie and Julie Ammons; and her sisters, Peggy Ammons of Newberry and Dot Springs of Willmington.
She was predeceased by her husband, Everett Lawson, her son, Everett Richard Lawson, her son-in-law, Milton “Bo” Williams, her brother, SW Shealy, Jr and seven half brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, April 17th, at 4 PM at Friendship Baptist Church of Whitmire with burial in Whitmire Cemetery.
The family will receive friends before the service from 2:30 PM to 3:30PM at the Church.
