Brenda King Bodie

Brenda King Bodie, age 74, of 192 Sims St, and the widow of Ervin Clayton Bodie, Sr., passed away Saturday, December 3, 2016 at White Oak Manor.
She was born in Whimire and was a daughter of Charlie Francis King and Maggie Mae Crocker.
She is survived by her two sons, Kenneth Bodie (Heather) and Ervin “Clay” Bodie, Jr., both of Whitmire; her three daughters, Donna Harris (Curly), Elaine Hyler (Robert), and Janeen Toby (Mark) all of Whitmire; a sister, Frances Hurd of Kingsport, TN; fourteen grandchildren; and nineteen great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 6th, at 2 PM, at the Evans Street Church of God, with burial at Whitmire City Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday, from 6 to 8 PM at the funeral home.
The family will be at her home located at 192 Sims St, Whitmire, SC 29178.
