Brenda Joyce Harris

Brenda Joyce Harris, 70, widow of John Henry Harris of 18047 Hwy 72 East passed away Thursday, September 7, 2017 at her home.
She was born in Clinton SC and was a daughter of the late Henry Horace and Ethel Cobb Howell.
Mrs. Harris is survived by her son, Michael Harris of the home; three daughters, Tammy Harris of the home; Diane Boulware (Jimmy) of Newberry; Tina Faulks (Billy) of Whitmire; a sister, Virginia Avery (Jimmy) of Clinton; four grandchildren, Christopher Boulware (April), Albert Bowlare, Ashley Wix (Chad) and Bill Faulks III and six great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents Mrs. Harris is predeceased by her sons; James Lester Harris and John Wesley Harris; a brother, Horace Eugene Howell and two sisters, Viola Wicker and Frances Howell.
Graveside service will be conducted Friday, September 8, 2017 at 2:30PM at the Whitmire Cemetery by Rev. Tommy Harris. The family will receive friends Friday, September 8, 2017 from 1PM to 2PM at Gray Funeral Home of Clinton.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hospice of Laurens County, P.O. 178, Clinton, SC 29325.
The family will be at the home of Tina Faulks, 6122 Whitmire Hwy, Whitmire, SC 29178.
