Brenda Ann Brown Wimburn, age 68, of 18860 Hwy 72 E, and widow of Rufus Lee Wimburn, passed away at her home Wednesday, January 11, 2017.
She was born in Colbert, GA and was a daughter of Melba Brown Fields.
Mrs. Wimburn is survived by daughters, Theresa Butler of Clinton, Windy Trammell of Joanna, Linda George of Bowden, GA; her brothers, Buck Alewine and Buddy Alewine both of Hull, GA; her sisters, Barbara Peterman and Frankie McDonald both of Colbert, GA; her ten grandchildren; and multiple great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her son, Lee Wimburn, and her daughter, Judy Murphy.
Graveside service will be held Saturday, January 14, 2017 at 2 PM at Rosemont Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6 to 8 PM at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the college fund of her great-grandchildren, at Founders Credit Union (Account No. 512303), 24543 Highway 76E, Clinton, SC 29325.
