Bruce Delmar Austin

Bruce D. Austin, age 68 of 1034 Richburgh Circle died May 2, 2006 in the Ralph Johnson, VA Medical Center in Charleston, SC.
He was born in Clinton, SC and was a son of the late Dewey L and Martha Venie Smart Austin.
Mr. Austin was employed with S.C. Security Management Company. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of 20 years service having served in Vietnam.
Surviving are his wife, Blanche Manore Austin of the home; four sons, Jeff Weeman of Ida, MI, Bernard Shimel of Cross, SC, Tim Shimel of Cross, SC, Richard Shimel of Bennettsville; three daughters, Tina Sims of Yorktown, VA, Jill Calkins of Newport, MI, Renee Labonte of Lady Lake, FL; two sisters, Erline Mitchum of Clinton, Brenda Jenkins of Whitmire and twelve grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Graveside services will be conducted Saturday, May 5th at 2:00 p.m. at the Pinelawn Memory Gardens with full military honors.
The family will be the home of his sister, Erline Mitchum, 1720 Old Milton Rd., Clinton, SC.
