Bruce “Eddie” Dunaway age 40 of 512 Conway Avenue, died Tuesday, February 23, 2010 in the Hospice House of Laurens County.
He was born in Laurens County and was the son of Sarah Sams Dunaway and David Dunaway of Laurens.
He lived in Lydia Mill most of his life and was a former employee of CMI Bailey Plant.
He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Deyton Dunaway of the home; a daughter, Mrs. Jacob (Aimee) Moore of Portland, Oregon; a brother, Charles Dunaway and wife, Teresa; a step-daughter, Angie; four step-sons, Ronnie, Trinity, Joshua and Bryan; five step-brothers, Ray, Mitchell, Tony, Ricky and Barry of North Carolina; a step-sister, Brenda Witt; a special friend, Willard Davis; a niece, Danielle; two nephews, Daniel and wife, Jessica and Charles; and two great-nephews, Elijah and Chayton.
He was predececeased by his step-father, James E. Estes.
The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home in Clinton.
Graveside services will be conducted Sunday, Feb. 28th at 3:00 p.m. in Pinelawn Memory Gardens by Rev. Dan Compton.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Laurens County, P.O. Box 178, Clinton or to Sandy Springs Methodist Church Building Fund, c/o Billy ray Osborne, 2886 Harris Bridge Road, Woodruff, SC 29388.
The family will be at 3144 Puckett Ferry Road in Cross Hill.
