Bryan Edwin Harris, age 61, of Whitmire, husband of Anne J. Harris, passed away Friday, May 28, 2021 at his home.
He was born May 9, 1960 in Colorado Springs, Colorado, and was a son of James E. Harris and Doris Chaplin Harris. He was a graduate of Whitmire High School and Piedmont Technical College. Mr. Harris was the Assistant Fire Chief of the Whitmire Fire Department for 34 years.
In addition to his wife of the home, Mr. Harris is survived by his daughter, Chrystal Gambrell of Westminster; two sons, Timothy Shane Harris (Shelley), and Matthew Harris (Melanie) all of Whitmire; he is also survived by his eldest brother, David Harris (Debbie); along with being a loving husband and father, Mr. Harris was also the proud Papa to six wonderful grandchildren; Dalton Gambrell, Ethan Gambrell, Timothy Shane Harris, Jr., Preston Laughter, Orlando Harris, and Bayleigh Harris.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 2, 2021, 11AM at Heritage Wesleyan Church with Rev. Mark Stevenson officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Tabor Methodist Cemetery in Whitmire.
The family will receive friends Tuesday evening, June 1, 2021 at the church from 5-8PM.
