Dateline-Laurens, SC
C. James (Jim) Drennen, age 60, of 112 Campground Road, died Monday, March 25, 2013, in the St. Francis Hospital.
He was born in Belleville, IL and was the son of the late Ernest and Noba Mae Linebarger Drennen.
Mr. Drennen was an employee of Walmart and a member of Bellview Baptist Church. He was an U.S. Army and Air Force veteran.
Surviving are his wife, Mary Isemann Drennen of the home; a son, Ernie Drennen, III of Waterloo, SC; three daughters, Michelle Harris of Suffolk, VA, Kelly Drennen of England, and Amanda Drennen of Waterloo, SC; two brothers, Doug Drennen of Redding, CA, Dana Drennen of Milwaukee, WI; three sisters, Linda Schertz of Waterloo, SC, Janice Owens of Rogue River, OR, and Kim Swanson of Redding, CA; and ten grandchildren.
Mr. Drennen was predeceased by two siblings, Daniel Dewey Drennen and Joyce Ann Drennen.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, March 30th at 11:00 a.m., at the Gray Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Adam Powers, with burial in the Bellview Baptist Church Cemetery
The family will receive friends on Friday, March 29th from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
