Calvin David Coleman

David Coleman, age 81, resident of Central Avenue, Whitmire, SC, widower of Martha Coleman, passed away Wednesday, February 9, 2022, at White Oak Manor in Newberry.
Born December 2, 1940 in Monarch, SC, he was a son of the late Claude Lloyd and Della Nix Coleman. David retired from the textile industry, having worked in several mills throughout his life.
He was a member of God’s Healing Springs Baptist Church.
He is survived by his adopted daughter, Lesa Taylor (Charles) of Whitmire; his brother, Eddie Coleman of Albany, OR; numerous nieces and nephews, and a wealth of friends.
In addition to his parents and wife of 50 years, Mr. Coleman was predeceased by two brothers, Harold Coleman and Larry Coleman; and his sisters, Nina Bledsoe, and Shirley Ellis.
Funeral Services will be held, 3:00 PM, Monday, February 14, 2022, at God's Healing Springs Baptist Church with Rev. Wayne Tobias officiating. Burial will take place in the Whitmire Cemetery.
The family will receive friends prior to the service from 2:00 - 3:00 PM at the Church.
