Candy Shepeard Avery, age 49 of 203 Florence Street, died Saturday, February 9, 2013 at her home.
She was born in Columbus, Ohio and was the daughter of Nancy Hughes Nelson of Clinton and the late Chuck Shepeard. Mrs. Avery was a homemaker and a member of the First Pentecostal Holiness Church.
Surviving are her husband, Lowell Eugene Avery of the home; her son, Caleb Avery of the home; her stepfather, James Nelson; her special nephew, Ryan Webb of Clinton; two sisters, Sherri Maggard of Clinton and Melody Trammell of Greer; and special pet, Mollie.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday, February 11th at 12:00 Noon at First Pentecostal Holiness Church by Rev. Sherrill Green and Rev. Mark Entrekin, with burial at Pinelawn Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends Monday before the services from 11:00 to 12:00 at the Church.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Hospice of one’s choice.
