Carl Heaton, Jr., age 82, formerly of 305 Washington St., Clinton, and widower of Peggy Heaton, died Saturday, September 27, 2014, at the National Health Care of Clinton.
He was born in Greenville County and was a son of the late Carl C. Heaton, Sr. and Edna Eskew Williamson.
Mr. Heaton was a retired electrician from Clinton Mills and a member of the Lydia Church of God.
He is survived by one son, Carl Allen Heaton, of Clinton; two daughters, Kathy Smith and Teresa Godfrey, both of Clinton; two sisters, Jeanette Henderson, of Ware Shoals, and Mary Ann Satterfield, of Greenville; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 30, 2014, at 2:00 p.m., at the Lydia Church of God, with burial at Pinelawn Memory Gardens.
Visitation will be held at the church on Monday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
The family will be at the home of Teresa Godfrey at 106 Gordon St., Clinton.
