Carl Anthony Peay

Carl Anthony Peay, age 77, widower of Sandra Dianne Peay of Whitmire, SC, passed away Wednesday, March 13, 2024, at White Oak Manor in Newberry, SC.
Mr. Peay was born October 4, 1946 and was a son of the late Lewis Ray Peay and Helen Johnson Peay.
He is survived by his daughter, Cynthia Smallwood (Michael) of Newberry, SC; his grandchildren, Kayla Lawson (Thomas), Brianna Riffey (Austin), Morgan Conboy (Anthony, currently serving in the US Army), Shanna Riffey, and Abby Riffey; his great-grandchildren, Colton Landreth, Asher Landreth, Hailee Conboy, Daesyn Lawson, and Beaux Jenkins; and his nephew, Freddy Moss, Jr.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Patricia Peay Moss.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, March 16, 2024, 3 PM at the Gray Funeral Home Chapel in Whitmire with Travis King to officiate, with burial to take place at Whitmire Cemetery. Visitation will be prior to the service at the funeral home from 2 to 3 PM.
