Carl “Rabbit” Michael Stone, age 59, of 62 Spring Street, passed away Friday, July 7, 2017, at the Regency Hospital of Greenville.
He was born in Whitmire and was the son of James Hilton and Katie Ammons Stone.
Mr. Stone was a former employee of the Carlisle Finishing Plant.
He is survived by his wife, Rhonda Lynn Stone; his son, Stanley Stone (Lillie) of Whitmire; his daughter, Suzanne Stone of Whitmire; his sister, Karen Stone (Wesley Crisp) of Whitmire; sisters-in-law, Peggy Dalton (Ray) and Diane Hinsley (Randy); nieces, Amanda K. Stone, Tonia Morgan and Tammy Reed; and nephews, Scott Dalton, Earl Dalton and Jason Lancaster.
A funeral service will be held Monday, July 10th, at 4 PM, at the Gray Funeral Home Chapel of Whitmire. The family will receive friends on Sunday evening from 7 to 9 PM at the funeral home. Burial will take place at the Whitmire Cemetery.
