Carl E. Turner, Sr. age 69, of 49 Horseshoe Dr. died Thursday, November 11, 2010 at his home.
He was born in Newberry and was the son of the late Perry and Willie Mae Gentry Turner.
He was retired from Clinton Mills and was a member of Sharon United Methodist Church in Kinards.
Mr. Turner is survived by his wife, Joyce McAlister Turner of the home; a daughter, Deborah T. Rogers and husband, Tim of Clinton and grandson Hayden Rogers;a daughter-in-law, Deborah Turner; three sisters; Margaret Wike of Douglasville, GA, Anne Green of Hapeville, GA and Martha Hall of Greenwood.
He was predeceased by his son, Carl “Bubba” Turner, Jr.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, Nov. 13th at 3:30 p.m. in the Gray Funeral Home Chapel in Clinton with burial in Pinelawn Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 3:30 p.m. on Saturday before the service at the funeral home.
