Carol Ivey Birchmore

Carol Ivey Birchmore age 71, of 100 Glendale Manor and widow of Claude Birchmore passed Sunday, January 15, 2017 at the Greenville Memorial Hospital in Greenville, SC.
She was born in Spartanburg County and was a daughter of the late Ernest Teague and Virginia Crook Ivey.
Mrs. Birchmore was an LPN for many years working at the Bailey Memorial Hospital, Whitten Center and NHC of Laurens. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and attended the Elizabeth Street Church of God.
Surviving are her two sons, Duane Birchmore (Melanie) of Mountville, Craig Birchmore (Sarah) of Honea Path; seven grandchildren, Thad Birchmore, Caroline Birchmore, Lily Birchmore, Cole Birchmore, Iva Rose Birchmore, Zach Koon and Samantha Koon.
Services will be conducted Thursday, January 19th at 2:00 P.M. at the Victory Worship Center.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 1:00 to 2:00 P.M. at the church.
In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made in Mrs. Birchmore’s memory to the Laurens County Cancer Association, 1337 Medical Ridge Rd, Clinton, SC 29325.
The family will be at the home of her sister-in-law, Pearl Fallow, 17394 Hwy., 56 N., Clinton, SC 29325.
