Carole Lyda Meyer

Carole Lyda Meyer, age 86, widow of William "Bill" Leroy Meyer, passed away, Tuesday, July 23, 2024, at Prisma Health Laurens County Hospital.
Born February 6, 1938 in Greenville, SC, she was a daughter of the late Beattie and Annie Mae Spoone Lyda.
She is survived by her daughters, Leigh Anne Todd (Claude) of Waterloo, and Meredith “Meri” Finley (Steve) of Waterloo; one granddaughter, RaeAnne Meetze (Mikey); her great grandchildren, Raelynn Meetze and Sawyer Meetze; and her sister, Susan Lyda.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, Bruce Lyda; and her sister, Beryl Rumfelt.
A Memorial Service will be planned at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Burton Center, 2605 Highway 72/221 E., Greenwood, SC 29649.
Gray Funeral Home of Clinton is assisting the Meyer family with services.
