Carol P. Pressley

Carol Pressley, age 65, of 220 N. Main St. died Thursday, November 3, 2011 at the Newberry County Memorial Hospital.
She was born in Clinton, SC and was a daughter of the late Macon Walter and Bernice Ellis Prather.
Carol retired from the V.C. Summer Nuclear Plant and was a former textile employee.
Surviving are three sons, Barry Pressley and wife, Bonnie, Butch Pressley and wife, Tina, Jerry Pressley and wife Jody and a daughter, Toni Conner all of Whitmire; four brothers, Mitchell Prather, Randy Prather, Steve Prather and Myron; three sisters, Geraldine Hastings, Linda Knight and not only a sister but Best Friend, Terri Boyter; eleven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, Nov. 5th at 1:00 p.m. at the Gray Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Charles Brewington.
The family will receive friends an hour before the service from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
The family wishes to express a special thank you to the Nursing Staff of the Newberry County Memorial Hospital and Doctors Barrineau and Lovelace for the exceptional care and kindness given to them and their mother.

The family will be at Carol’s home, 220 N. Main St., Whitmire.
