Carolyn Weir Hollis

Carolyn Weir Hollis, age 95, and widow of Charles A. Hollis, Jr., passed away Friday, December 9, 2016 at the NHC of Clinton.
She was born in Newberry, SC and was the daughter of the late Sam L. and Carrie Lee Buford Weir was resident of Clinton for over fifty years. She worked for Young’s Pharmacy for many years at Eckerd Drug. She was a long time member of Broad Street United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her step-daughters, Cindy Kessler and John Eriksen of Stuart, FL; Kitty Starling and Wesley of Marietta, GA; Jenny Hollis of Redington Shores, FL; and a very devoted niece, Phyllis Sublett of Clinton.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by a stepson, Charles A. Hollis III.
Graveside services will be held Sunday, December 11 at 11:00 AM at the Rosemont Cemetery in Clinton.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Broad Street United Methodist Church, 310 N. Broad Street, Clinton, SC 29325.
