Carolyn Patricia Nabors, age 75, of Clinton, SC, passed away Thursday, February 15, 2024 at her home.
Born November 8, 1948 in Clinton, SC, she was a daughter of the late Charlie Nabors, Sr. and Bessie Parris Nabors. Carolyn, a graduate of Clinton High School, dedicated her career to serving others. She began her journey in the cotton mills before becoming a nurse. Throughout her career, she compassionately cared for Alzheimer’s and dementia patients in various nursing facilities, as well as at Whitten Center and through private home care services for many years.
She is survived by her children Deborah Waldrop of Laurens, John Cotney (Nisty) of Clinton, Denise Vance (Chris) of Greenwood, and Phillip Nabors of Clinton; her niece, Susan Nabors smart (Jeffrey); nephews Chad Nabors (Kristen) and William Nabors (Jordan); her grandchildren, Michael (Katie) Waldrop, Brittney Waldrop, Ben Wise (Tatiyana), Monique Wise, Christina Wise, Gage Evett, Lily Layne, Andrew Evans, Devin Crompton, Issac Crompton; her great-granddaughter, Ariel Tiana Wise; her close friend, Denise Evans; and her beloved dog, Gunner.
In addition to her parents, Carolyn was preceded in death by her brother, Charlie Nabors, Jr.; her sister, Doris Nabors; and her nephew, Chuck Nabors.
No services are planned at this time.
The family will be at their respective homes.
