Carolyn Parkman Thomason

Carolyn Parkman Thomason, age 88, of 434 Tranquil Drive, passed away Monday, April 3rd, 2017, at the NHC of Clinton.
She was born in Columbia, SC, and was a daughter of the late Thomas Marion Parkman, Sr. and Clarie Williams Parkman, and the last surviving member of her family.
Mrs. Thomason was Co-owner of Earl Thomason’s Jewelers and Earl Thomason’s Upstairs and a member of the Laurens First United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Earl Thomason; her son, Jeff Thomason of Clinton; her daughter, Beth Paulman of Virginia Beach, VA; two grandchildren, Hampden Thomason of Orangeburg and Kimberly Dial of Virginia Beach, VA; and four great-grandchildren, Brenden, Abigail, Lillian, and Michael.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Thomason was predeceased by a brother and three sisters.
A memorial service will be held Friday, April 7th, at 2:00 PM, at the Laurens First United Methodist Church. The family will greet friends following the service. A private burial will be held Friday morning at Pinelawn Memory Gardens.
