Carolyn Garrison Gunnels

Carolyn Garrison Gunnels age 67, of 2728 Indian Mound Road and widow of Ralph Lee Gunnels, Sr., died Sunday, August 26, 2011 at her home.
She was born in Anderson and was a daughter of the late Gordon and Anna Saxon Garrison.
Mrs. Gunnels was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church.
Surviving are a son, Michael S. and wife, Missy Boyter Gunnels of Noblesville, Indiana; a sister raised as a daughter in the home, Anna (Keith) Johnson of Laurens; grandchildren, Jon-Michael Gunnels and Elizabeth Gunnels; a sister, Hilda G. Arnold of Greenwood; two special nephews, Eric Arnold and Tripp Brunson of Greenwood and a special niece, Alice Arnold of Greenwood.
In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her son, Ralph Lee “Rocky” Gunnels, Jr. and a sister, Kathy G. Brunson.
Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, September 1st at 11:00 am. in the Gray Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
