Carrol Walter Kuykendall

 Carrol Walter Kuykendall, age 79, passed away Saturday, January 25, 2025 at the Woodbridge of Clinton.

 He was born August 18, 1945 in Tryon, NC and was a son of the late Clyde V. Kuykendall and Clara Belle Richards Kuykendall. Mr. Kuykendall was retired, having spent his career as a butcher and manager in the meat department for Bilo and Ingles. He loved the outdoors, camping and classic cars. Carrol loved Christmas and helping families that needed a little help during the holidays. He was known to remember every family members “Birthday” and enjoyed celebrating with them. He also loved all his grandchildren, as well as his nieces and nephews.

 Mr. Kuykendall is survived by his children, Tina McGee (Allen) and Carroll “Pug” Kuykendall (Dawn); his grandchildren, Tiffany Tarver (Jesse), Jonathan Kuykendall, Carmen LaCons (Zack), Haleigh Kuykendall, and Lukas Kuykendall; his two great-grandchildren, Jensen and Sawyer Tarver; and his brother, Roger Kuykendall (Lynn).

 In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Bruce Kuykendall and his sister, Faye Horne.

 The Kuykendall family would like to give their thanks and love to all the Caregiver's at Woodbridge and Hospice, who gave him love and care during his time there.

 A Graveside Memorial Service will be held Thursday, January 30, 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Bellview Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Jeff Shiflet officiating.
