Carroll Eugene Tinsley

Carroll Eugene Tinsley age 77, of 978 Bush River Road, passed away on Sunday, March 18th in the Laurens County Hospital.
He was born in Newberry County, SC and was a son of the late Alvin and Beatrice Owenby Tinsley. Mr. Tinsley was a former employee of Metal Masters and a member of Community Baptist Church. He was a Veteran of the South Carolina National Guard.
Surviving are two daughters, Carol Anne (Brian) Gillespie of Joanna and Misty Seawright (Mike) of Clinton; two brothers, Henry Tinsley (Cereta) of Kinards and Robert Tinsley (Kay) of Clinton; a sister, Glennie Walker of Kinards; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his four sisters, Mary B. Tinsley, Lucille Tinsley, Edna White and Myrtis Stroud.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 21st from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Gray Funeral Home in Clinton.
The family will be at the home of his daughter Carole Anne Gillespie at 502 Browning Avenue in Joanna.
