Catherine Whitmore Thomas

Catherine “Cat Mama” Whitmore Thomas, age 69, of 328 Wadsworth Lane and the widow of Junior Cass Thomas died Monday, May 7, 2007 at her home.
She was born in Spartanburg County and was a daughter of the late John Thomas and Ina Rhodes Whitmore.
Mrs. Thomas was retired from Clinton Mills, Lydia Plant and was a charter member of the Lydia Church of God and a member of the Ladies Class.
Surviving are two sons and one daughter, John Thomas and wife Caroline, Jeff Thomas, Ann Blanton and husband Michael, all of Clinton; one sister, Ruth Gregory of Clinton; one brother, Rev. Danny Whitmore of Taylors; four grandchildren, Jessica (Keith) Thomas Giddens of Simpsonville, Cara Blanton of Clinton, Adam Blanton of Greenville, and Adam Taylor Jr. of Clinton.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, May 9th at 11:00 a.m. in the Gray Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Pinelawn Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
The family is at her home, 328 Wadsworth Lane, Clinton.
