Cecil Lawson, Jr. age 56 of 954 Lake Rd. died Tuesday, Sept. 17th at his home.
He was born in Clinton and was a son of the late Cecil Lawson Sr. and Mary Prince Lawson.
He was a freelance electrician and a Vietnam Army Veteran.
Surviving are his wife, Frances Oswald Lawson of the home, two sons, Allen Lawson and Chad Lawson both of Laurens, two sisters, Mary Barbara Chapman of Laurens and Patricia L. Clark of Clinton and five grandchildren, Amanda, Joshua, Hayley, Michael and Casey Lawson.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 3:30 p.m. in Gray Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Rosemont Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. at Gray Funeral Home.
The family is at the residence.
