Cecil Brasington Mclendon

Cecil B. McLendon, age 94, of 67 Edgewood Cir. died Wednesday, March 29, 2006 at his home.
He was born in Camden and was son of the late Henry Clarence and Daisy Coats McLendon.
Mr. McLendon had retired from Lydia Mill and also Whitten Center. He was a member of the Golden Years and also the oldest member at Lydia Mill Baptist Church. He loved gardening and being with his family.
Surviving are his wife, Elizabeth “Lib” Bagwell McLendon of the home; daughter, Cecelia McLendon Bailey of Clinton; grandchildren, Bob and Jill Bailey of Greenwood and Melody and Richard Rybolt of Edisto; and great-grandchildren, Sarah and James Bailey of Greenwood and Ereka Nunnally of Edisto.
He was predeceased by two brothers, a sister, and a cousin raised in the home.
A graveside service will be conducted Friday, March 31st at 11:30 a.m. in the Pinelawn Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends an hour before the service at the funeral home.
