C.F. Smoak, Sr., age 90 died Saturday, April 12, 2008 at the National HealthCare of Laurens.
He was born in Hampton County and was a son of the late Franklin and Rebecca Long Smoak.
Mr. Smoak was the former owner and operator of the City Pawn Shop, was a member of the First Baptist Church and a U.S. Army veteran of WWII.
Surviving are his son, Coleman F. Smoak, Jr. of Laurens; one daughter, Rebecca Smoak of Easley; one sister of Savannah, GA; and one granddaughter, Kelly Smoak.
Mr. Smoak was predeceased by two brothers and four sisters.
Graveside services with Masonic Rites will be conducted Tuesday, Apr. 15th at 11:00 a.m. at the Forest Lawn Cemetery.
The family will greet friends following the service.
The family will be at the home of his son, Coleman Smoak, 200 Barksdale Cr., Laurens, SC.
