Charles (Sonny) Brewington Sr.

Charles (Sonny) Brewington, Sr., age 82, of Clinton, SC, widower of Kitty Cox Brewington, passed away Saturday, December 9, 2023 at his home.
Born October 23, 1941 in Laurens, SC, and was a son of the late L.B. and Annie L. Childress Brewington. Mr. Brewington was a US Army Veteran and was employed as an independent trucker. He was a member of DAV and the American Legion.
Surviving are his son, Charles Larry Brewington, Sr. of Clinton; his daughters, Jackie Brewington of Clinton and Sonya Brewington of Laurens; his brother, James Terry Brewington of Clinton; six grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was predeceased by his son, Charles L. “Chuck” Brewington, Jr.
Graveside services with Military Honors will be held Wednesday, December 13, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Pinelawn Memory Gardens with Rev. JD Putman officiating.
Gray Funeral Home of Clinton is assisting the Brewington family with arrangements.
