Charles Maxie Davis Sr.

Charles Maxie Davis Sr. 82, of 86 Palmetto Street passed away Tuesday, August 29, 2017 at his home.
He was born in Clinton and was a son of the late Hudson and Clara Brown Davis.
Mr. Davis is a former employee of Clinton Mills; member of Lydia Baptist Church, an avid Gamecock fan, a wonderful husband, father and grandfather.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Linda Willard Davis of the home; a son, Willard Davis of Clinton; a sister, Betty Davis Dutton of Clinton; daughter-in-law, Allison Davis of Clinton; three grandchildren, Will Davis, Justin Davis and Holly Davis all of Clinton; for great-grandchildren, Alaster Jack Davis, Landon Depauk Davis, Ivy Aurora Davis and Braxton Burton.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Davis was predeceased by a son, Charles Maxie Davis Jr.
The family will hold a private memorial service.
