Charles William Kinard Sr.

Charles William Kinard, Sr., age 94, widower of Judith Ann Cole Kinard, passed away Thursday, November 16, 2023 at the Langston Place.
Born October 14, 1929 in Clinton, SC, he was a son of the late Claudia Kinard Norton.
Mr. Kinard was a US Navy Veteran and retired from the US Postal Service as Postmaster in Whitmire, SC. Charles had a passion for flying and playing tennis, which he passed on to his granddaughter, Melissa.
Charles was a dedicated member of Calvary Baptist Church and cherished his involvement there.
Mr. Kinard is survived by his son, Charles William Kinard, Jr. (Julie) of West Columbia, SC, and his granddaughter, Melissa Nichol Kinard.
Funeral Services will be held 1:00 PM, Monday, November 20, 2023 at Calvary Baptist Church with Pastor Rob Hudson officiating. Burial will follow at the Rosemont Cemetery.
The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:00 – 1:00 PM at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Calvary Baptist Church, 702 N. Sloan Street, Clinton, SC 29325.
