He is survived by his wife, Joanne Swofford; his sons, Chuck Swofford and Steven Swofford and families; step-son, Donnie Andrews and family; step-daughter, Stephanie Ann Andrews; his sister, Betty Lee Bolt; his brothers Bob, Aubrey, John and Joe Swofford and families.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, December 27th, from 2 to 4 PM at Gray Funeral Home of Laurens.
A private family committal service will be held at a later date.
