Charles E. Tankersley, Sr.

Charles E. Tankersley, age 80, of 97 Lowry Street, passed away Sunday, Octoner 16, 2016 at his home.
He was born in Dryden, VA and was a son of the late Clyde William Tankersley and Lula Virginia Martin.
He is survived by his son, Charles “Chuck” Tankersley (Charlene) of Pauline, SC; his brothers, Clyde Tankersley, Jr. of Whitmire and Billy Joe Tankersley of Cross Hill, SC; his sister, Pauline Crisp of Whitmire; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his son, Johnny Tankersley.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 19th at 1 PM at Whitmire Cemetery.
