Charles E. Patterson

Charles E. Patterson age 79 of 18812 Hwy. 72 East, passed away on Friday, September 05, 2008 at his home.
He was born in Union County and was the son of the late Floyd and Gertha Spencer Patterson.
Mr. Patterson retired from G.E. Ceramics in Laurens.
He was survived by his wife, Willie Mae Patterson of the home; two daughters, Debi Grimsby and husband Gary of Tega Cay and Cindy Grady Wright of Chester; a brother, Burrell Patterson and wife Margie of Clinton; a sister, Eunice Eubanks of Laurens; a granddaughter, Shelli Wright; and a great grandson, Rhett Canty. Mr. Patterson was a loving husband, father, and grandfather and will be dearly missed.
Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, September 7th at 2:00 p.m. in Gray Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Pinelawn Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
