Charles H. Queen

Charles H. Queen, age 81 of 349 Conway Ave. died Saturday, May 7, 2011 at his home.
He was born in Westminster SC, and was the son of the late Carl H. and Bessie Smith Queen.
Mr. Queen retired from the Housing Authority of Laurens, was a member of the Bellview Baptist Church; Rossie Walker Masonic Lodge # 354; Hejaz Shrine Temple VFW Post 3354. Mr. Queen was a U.S. Navy Veteran of the Korean conflict and also served in the National Guard.
He is survived by one son, John Arnold Queen and his wife, Virginia of Littleton, Colorado; two daughters, Linda Frances Queen of Surprise, AZ and Lisa Anne Petrucelli of Ventura, CA; two brothers, Carl E. Queen of Laurens, Bobby R. Queen of Mountain Rest, SC; one sister Betty Lois Templeton of Laurens; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be conducted Tuesday, May 10th at 2:00 pm at the Bellview Baptist Church Cemetery with Masonic Rites and Military Honors.
