Charles Lewis Hipp, age 86 of 3029 A. B. Jacks Road, died Tuesday, August 29th in the Laurens County Hospital.
He was born in Laurens County and was a son of the late William Pierce and Elizabeth Madden Hipp.
He was a retired truck driver for Whitten Center and an Army Veteran.
Surviving are one son and daughter-in-law, Lewis & Mary Hipp of Clinton, one daughter, Annette Marie Bagwell of Hickory Tavern, one sister, Virginia Swanson of Brandon, FL and two grandchildren, Kayla Bagwell and Hanah Hipp; two step-grandchildren, Mallory and Jeremy Ellison.
He was predeceased by his wife, Annie Marie Hipp.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 3:00 p.m. in Gray Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Pinelawn Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday evening at Gray Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Laurens County Memorial Home, P.O. Box 638, Laurens, SC 29360.
