Charles Royce Foster

Charles Royce Foster, age 78, of 206 Davis St. died Friday, December 11, 2009 at the Hospice House of Laurens County.
He was born in Gastonia and was the son of the late Samuel C. and Bessie Prim Foster.
Mr. Foster was retired from Whitten Center and was a former member of the S.C. National Guard.
He is survived by two daughters, Vicki McGee and Charla Lynn Foster both of Greer; a son, Troy Barker of Laurens; two brothers, Harvey L. Foster and Richard D. Foster both of Clinton; three sisters, Laura Burns, Dorothy Trammell and Martha Watts all of Clinton; 3 granddaughters; 1 grandson; 4 great-granddaughters and 1 great-grandson.
He was predeceased by four brothers, Harry, Paul, Lloyd R. and Hoyle Foster.
A graveside service will be conducted Monday at 3:00 p.m. in the Rosemont Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Monday from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
