Clyde William Brazill

Clyde William Brazill age 84 of 906 N. Sloan St. died Wednesday, April 28, 2010 at the Laurens County Hospice House.
He was born in Santuck, SC and was a son of the late George Washington and Lillie Vanderford Brazill.
Mr. Brazill was retired from Whitten Center and was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church a US Army veteran of WWII serving as a Sgt. in the 1St Battalion, 79th Infantry Division, 315 Infantry, Company D and was the recipient of two Purple Hearts and the Bronze Star.
Surviving are two sisters, Polly Dunaway and Barbara Brazill both of Clinton; twenty six nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his wife, Gertrude Kidd Brazill and infant daughter, Sandra Gail Brazill.
Funeral service will be conducted Friday, April 30th at 3:00 p.m. in Calvary Baptist Church with burial in Rosemont Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Family will be at the home of Donald Kidd, 901 N. Sloan St.
