Cristie Lynn Weathers

Cristie Lynn Weathers, age 31, of 7 Beattie St. died Saturday, November 3, 2012, in the Laurens County Hospital. She was the daughter of Matthew E. Weathers, Jr. and Vickie Coker, and the granddaughter of Earl Coker and the late Joan L. Coker and Frances C. Weathers and the late Matthew E. Weathers, Sr.
Ms. Weathers graduated Laurens High School in all Honors classes, attended Piedmont Tech, and loved music. She was known for her beautiful smile and laughter.
She is survived by her daughter, Kathryn Lilliana Garcia and her son, Matthew Scott Knight of the home; four aunts, Debbie Coker (Kenny) Abercrombie, Wanda Coker (Toby) Waldrop, Rita Coker (Neal) Tumblin, and Kathery Weathers (Mike) Johnson; four uncles, Donnie (Pat) Myers, Perry (Sissy) Coker, David (Joyce) Weathers, and John (Ethel) Weathers; and a special friend, Scott Knight.
Ms. Weathers was predeceased by a beloved brother, Cecil Wayne Walker, Jr., and a beloved aunt, Georgia Ann Coker.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 4:00 p.m. in the Gray Funeral Home Chapel, with burial at Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
