Dan Fay Wells age 82 of 3583 Indian Creek Rd., passed away Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at the Hospice of Laurens County.
He was born in York, SC and was a son of the late James and Kate Burns Wells.
Mr. Wells retired from Oakland Mills after 35 years of service and was a member of Fairview Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Florrie Summer Wells of the home, son, Bennie Wells and Terri Kimberlin of Kinards; one daughter, Joyce Fuller and son-in-law; Rev. Stanley Fuller of Donalds; sisters, Idell Moore of Rock Hill and Louise Taylor of Chapin; a brother-in-law who was like a brother, Vernon Ginn and a special sister-in-law, Alice Ginn; three grandchildren, Wendy Donahue and husband, David, Carrie Burton and Zad Wells; 4 great grandchildren.
He was predeceased 3 brothers and 3 sisters.
Funeral service will be conducted Saturday, April 30th at 4:00 p.m. in the Fairview Baptist Church by Rev. Monty Osborne and Rev. Stanley Fuller, with burial in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends Saturday before the service from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the church.
