Dannie Eugene Collins age 61, of 813 Greenville Church Road, passed away Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at the Hospice Care of the Piedmont in Greenwood.
He was born in Greenwood, SC and was a son of the late Edward and Doris Collins.
He was a member of the Laurens Church of God.
Surviving are his wife, Sherry Gambrell Collins of the home; a son, Jason Prince of Donalds; a daughter, Tracy Craine (Jamie) of Laurens; a brother, Ronnie Collins (Kathy) of Enoree; and five grandchildren, Brandon Craine, Bryan Craine, MacKenzie Craine, Alisha Brown and Nathan Brown.
Mr. Collins was predeceased by his first wife, Cathy Collins, a daughter, Toni Brown and a brother, Ray Mitchell.
A memorial service will be conducted Saturday, April 30th at 11 a.m. in the Gray Funeral Home Chapel of Clinton.
The family will receive friends Saturday before the service from 10 to 11 a.m. at Gray Funeral Home.
