Danny Hugh King age 48 of 61 Hanks Road, died Sunday, August 21, 2011 due to injuries received after being struck by a car.
Danny was walking to church to help set up for a breakfast for the church members.
He was born in Clinton ,SC and was the son of Heyward and Rosa King.
Danny was an active member of New Horizon Free Will Baptist Church. He enjoyed giving his time to the church. He also lent a helping hand to anyone that needed it. Danny helped out at True Value Hardware. Danny will be missed but he will be waiting for us in Heaven.
Surviving are a brother, Heyward King, Jr. of Clinton; two sisters, Myra King Turk of Sarasota, FL and Robbin King Stewart of Clinton; four nieces, Sonya Padgett, Kayla Stewart, Brittany McDowell and Lindsey Gambrell; six nephews,
Brian McDowell, Kyle Stewart, Chase Gambrell, Collin Stewart, Bronson Stewart and Mason Millan.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 24th at 3:30 p.m. at New Horizon Free Will Baptist Church in Clinton with burial in Rosemont Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the Epilepsy Foundation, 8301 Professional Place, Landover, MD 20785.
