Danny Thomas Quarles, age 44, of 364 Sullivan Rd. died Monday, November 24, 2008 in the Greenville Memorial Hospital.
He was born in Greenwood and was the son of Barbara Brock Quarles of Laurens and the late David Quarles.
Mr. Quarles was a former employee of Pitts Steel, a member of the Palmetto Masonic Lodge and attended the Wattsville Church of God of Prophecy.
He loved to hunt and fish. He also loved to take his son rabbit hunting, ride on the farm and spend time with his family.
He is survived by his wife, Cindy Nelson Quarles of the home; three daughters, Candice Quarles Williams and husband, Brent of Laurens, Tonya Michelle Quarles of Laurens and fiancé, Justin Chapman and Mandilee Danielle Quarles of the home and fiancé, Michael Hall; a son, Blaine Thomas Quarles of the home; brothers, Richard David Quarles and Bobby Mitchell Quarles both of Laurens; a sister, Cynthia Quarles Owens of Laurens and brother-in-law, Bobby Jennings, Jr.; ex-brother-in-law, Danny Owens; sister-in-law, Kimberly Nelson; mother-in-law, Margaret Nelson; grandchildren, Trandon Blake Seibert, Autumn Blaze Williams and Anthony Akyle Chapman; and another grandchild due in July.
He was predeceased by a grandson, Justin Lewis Chapman, Jr.
A memorial service will be conducted Friday at 2:00 p.m. at the Gray Funeral Home of Laurens.
