Darlene Motes Overstreet

Darlene Motes Overstreet, age 57, of 512 Milton Road and widow of Daniel Overstreet, passed away April 7, 2012.
She was born in Joanna and was a daughter of the late Carl Davis Motes and NoraBell Etters Nelson of Joanna.
Mrs. Overstreet was a former employee of the Laurens County Hospital before becoming disabled and was a member of the Bible Faith Tabernacle Church.
Surviving are her four children; Karen Denise (David) Cantrell of Williamston, Doral Wonder (Donald) Privette of Joanna, Virginia Gail Overstreet of the home, Mullen Davis (Christine) Overstreet of Joanna; six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; two sisters, Kathy Mae Griffith of Laurens, Melissa Roxanne Motes of Joanna and two brothers, Frankie Motes of Joanna and Clifton Davis Motes of South Port, NC.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, Apr. 10th at 11:00 a.m. in Bible Faith Tabernacle with burial in Rosemont Cemetery.
The family will receive friends for 7 to 9 p.m. at Gray Funeral Home on Monday evening.
