David "Dave" R. Anderson

David “Dave” R. Anderson, age 55, of Laurens County, passed away Sunday, August 16, 2015.
He was born in Crookstone, Minnesota and was the son of Vergil Clarence Anderson and Patricia Anne Shute Anderson.
Mr. Anderson was employed as a Supervisor at V.C. Summer Nuclear Plant.
He was a graduate of University of Kansas where he played baseball and continued his baseball career as a Minor League Baseball Player with the St. Louis Cardinals.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Nancy Copeland Anderson of the home; his step-son, James Edwin Sifford and step daughter, Jessica Marie Knuff, husband Chris and their son, Gabriel. Dave was looking forward to welcoming Taylor Saifi into his family soon. He had three sisters Laura Sue Rezzardi, Nancy Lee Buhrow and Karen Kristine Morfoot.
A memorial service will be held at Leesville Southern Methodist Church on Thursday, August 20th at 6 PM.
The family will receive friends following the service.
