David Blakely McNinch, age 76, of 617 Chestnut Street, passed away Saturday, May 30, 2015, at the McCall Hospice House of Simpsonville.
He was born in Clinton and was the son of the late James and Easter Todd McNinch.
Mr. McNinch was a member of the Laurens High School Class of 1957. He was retired from Laurens District 55 as the Superintendent of Maintenance.
He is survived by his son, David McNinch, Jr., and wife, Gisela Paulsen; his daughter, Valerie McNinch Colegrove and husband, Greg Colegrove of Hendersonville, NC; his step-daughters, Pamela C. Collings of Boiling Springs and Kathy Wilson Putnam and husband, Mark Putnam of Fountain Inn; his granddaughter, Caroline McNinch; his sister, Caroline Vines and husband, William J. Vines of Laurens; and his nieces, Frances Patterson, Malinda McNinch, Mary Hill, Phyllis Crider and Dorothy Sloan.
He was predeceased by his wife, Sylvia McNinch and his brother, James Larry McNinch.
Funeral services will be held at the Clinton First Pentecostal Holiness Church on Tuesday, June 2nd at 2 PM with burial in Forest Lawn Cemetery in Laurens.
The family will receive friends, before the service from 1 to 2 PM at the Church.
The family will be at the home of his sister Caroline Vines, 105 Lakeview Drive, Laurens, SC 29360.
